Purchase: Not able to create new item code from item lookup edit

Question : This user SALE ables to create and edit purchase invoice, but when try to add new item from item lookup edit, message prompted “Access Denied”. Why?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

This user doesn’t have the access rights to create new stock item.

Solution :

Go to General Maintenance > User Maintenance > Access Rights > Stock > Stock Item Maintenance, grant access rights to the user SALE to Create Stock Item.

Now the user SALE ables to add new item from the Purchase Invoice.
