Sales: How to disable merge same item code when I scan barcode

Question : I scan barcode at Cash Sales, all the repeated same item will merge to one detail line even I scanned them not in sequence. How can I disable this function?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Answer :

Go to Tools > Options > Stock > Bar Code, uncheck the checkbox for Automatic Merge Same Item Code and click on OK.

You may now try to scan a same barcode several times, it will not merge into one line and instead will show separately.
