Default Costing Method: define the default costing method that will be automatically assigned during creation of new Stock Item.

Use Most Recent Cost For Negative Up-To-Date Quantity: when stock is issued (e.g. Sales Invoice) when its balance quantity is negative (or causing the stock into negative quantity), the cost will be captured from most recently purchased cost, else (if there was no purchase) will be captured from Standard Cost..

Always Use Previous Average Cost: when stock is issued (e.g. Sales Invoice) when its balance quantity is negative (or causing the stock into negative quantity), the cost will be captured from from Average Cost, else (if there was no average cost) will be captured from Standard Cost.

Ignore Location/Batch No. In Costing Calculation: to determine whether or not to calculate costing according to Location /Batch.

Use Serial Number Cost For Stock Out: if this is checked, the stock cost will be calculate based on the exact serial number cost
