Troubleshooting:Document date is set to maximum date

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question: When I try to create new A/P Invoice Entry, the document date shows 31/12/9999. How to set the document date follow the PC date?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

You have enabled the setting of “Set New Document Date to Maximum Value in all G/L, A/R, A/ Edit.” as shown in screenshot below.

By enabling this option, the document date will set to 31/12/9999, user is forced to key in (edit) document date every time when they create a new entry. This option is meant for users who always record back-dated entries and to prevent from forgetting to change document date.

Solution:

If you do not need this function, just uncheck the setting options at Tools > Options > General > Applications Settings; then the document date will back to normal and follow the PC date.
