Troubleshooting: ABackup error: “Backup Failed. Database Error found. There was no endpoint listening at...”

Question: Backup Error: “Backup Failed. Database Error found. There was no endpoint listening at...”

Possible Reason:

You were trying to back up a database from Client computer and the Server computer have not installed AutoCount Backup Server to allow client PC to backup database.

Solution:

Install AutoCount Backup Server in Server pc.

Step 1: Locate the AutoCount Backup Server setup file and double click on AutoCount Backup Server.exe.

You may find the setup file on AutoCount Accounting DVD.

Step 2: Click on Next.

Step 3: Click on Next after selected the folder path to install.

Step 4: Click On Next to confirm the installation.

Step 5: Click on Close when installation completed.

Step 6: Navigate to your Notification area and double click on the AutoCount Backup Server Monitor icon.

Step 7: Check the checkbox Allow client PCs to backup database and then click on Save & Apply.

Now, you should be able to back up your database from client pc.
