Troubleshooting: AOTG Console did not show Account Book Name

Question: One of the account books did not show its AccountBook Name at AOTG Console. I already tried reinstalling AOTG and reattach account book but still not solved. The installer version is compatible with the AutoCount Accounting version.


Possible Reason :

This account book is using Dongle and unable to detect the dongle license.


Solution :

1) Login this account book at AutoCount Accounting, go to Tools > Program Control > License Control > Controlled by USB Key, try to set to Remote USB Key and maintain Server (Ip address or Computer Name). Make sure the account book is detected with dongle license.


2) Go to Services, right click, and restart the AOTGClient Service.


3) Open AOTG Console, reattach the account book. Now it should show the AccountBook Name.


Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the suggested steps.
