Troubleshooting: Access Rights is not assigned but Users still can edit Printed Document

Question : I didn't assign any user "can edit printed Invoice”, but all of the users still can edit those printed Invoice. Why?

Possible Reason :

Option for Enable “Printed Document” Access Rights in System Option Policy is not checked.

If this function is checked (it is checked by default), the access rights control (General Maintenance > User Maintenance > Access Rights) for all 'printed documents' will take effect. If it is not checked, the setting of access rights will be ignored.


Solution :

If you wish to have the access rights control for Printed Document, go to Tools > System Option Policy, check the option Enable “Printed Document” Access Rights and click on OK.


Now, it will be blocked when user tries to edit Printed Invoice.
