Question: When I try to backup, system prompted error “Please make sure you have sufficient permission to read file from C: \....Access to the path ‘C:\\... is denied”?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

You are trying to backup directly into C: drive and there is a permission issue that does not allow to backup to C: drive.

Solution (1):

Run AutoCount as an Administrator by right click on AutoCount icon > Properties > Compatibility. And you should be able to backup into C: drive.

Solution (2):

Do not backup directly to C:\, delete the path C:\ in the backup directory.
