Troubleshooting: Balance Sheet 3 columns format – Accumulated Depreciation show 0.00 amount

Question: When I preview balance sheet with 3 Columns report, the Accumulated Depreciation didn’t show amount that I maintained at opening balance, which should show balances as at 31/12/2022. Why?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

The link between Fixed Asset and its Accumulated accounts is not properly set or the link is broken.

Solution:

Go to G/L > Account Maintenance > Others > Maintain Fixed Asset Links, click the ‘+’ to add on the new link for the specific Asset A/C No. and Asset Depreciation A/C No., then save.

Inquiry and preview again Balance Sheet report (This Year – 3 columns format). The Accumulated figure is shown now.
