Troubleshooting: Column ‘FiscalYearName’ is constrained to be unique. Value ‘Fiscal Year 2019’ is already present

Question : When I try to create a new next fiscal year, error message prompted ‘Column ‘FiscalYearName’ is constrained to be unique. Value ‘Fiscal Year 2019’ is already present’.

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

The name of fiscal year you wish to create exists, you’re not allowed to use the same Fiscal Year Name.

Solution :

Please check into Fiscal Year list to find that fiscal year name: ‘Fiscal Year 2019’.

Click on Edit Fiscal Year and rename the Fiscal Year Name to Fiscal Year 2016. Then you will be able to create Fiscal Year 2019.
