Question: When I try to create a new account book, an error message prompted: Unknown Sql Exception, directory lookup for the file “C:\AutoCount Data\AED_123_Data.mdf” failed with the operating system error2.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

You are trying to create a new account book on C:\AutoCount Data, but there is no such AutoCount Data folder on drive C and the system unable to create the folder automatically.

Solution (1):

Manually create an AutoCount Data folder on drive C.

Solution (2):

Edit the database folder to other hard drive that has AutoCount Data folder. For example: D:\AutoCount Data
