Troubleshooting: Create new debtor error - The value of column MemberType in table Member does not exist in its master file

Question : When I try to create a new debtor, system prompted an error: The value of column MemberType in table Member does not exist in its master file?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

The system will auto create Member when you create a debtor which Has Bonus Point in Others tab is checked. The problem now is your Default Member Type was deleted.

Solution :

Go to Bonus Point > Member Type Maintenance, click on New, and create the member type Default.

And now you should be able to create new Debtor and the Member will be auto created too.

For new debtor who is not a member, you may uncheck Has Bonus Point.
