Troubleshooting: Edit Item error – Please make sure Price by Quantity is in correct order. Enter zero if you don’t want define it.

Question: When I want to save edited Stock Item Maintenance, system prompts “Please make sure Price by Quantity is in correct order. Enter zero if you don’t want to define it.” When I click OK, it prompts another message that Qty1 cannot less than or equal to Qty2. Why?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

Due to item price book maintenance not maintained correctly, quantity must be in order as Qty 1 < Qty 2 < Qty 3 if did not use fixed price.

Solution :

1) Go to Stock > More Stock Maintenance > Item Price Book Maintenance, filter the item code and click on Edit.

2) Correct the Qty 2 and Qty 3, as Qty 1 < Qty 2 < Qty 3 and usually set the price for larger quantity with lower price, then click on OK to save.

3) Now, you should be able to edit and save Item Maintenance successfully.
