Troubleshooting: Error - Not a valid Tab Delimited Text Format or not an Stock Transfer import text format

Question : When I copy excel data into stock transfer document by using Paste item detail by clipboard, system prompted an error “Not a valid Tab Delimited Text Format or not an Stock Transfer import text format”. Why?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

The excel file is as below:

Possible Reason :

The header/column name may be not valid (as compared to column name in the system).

Solution :

1) Refer to the excel file and check on the column name, and there are four columns; Item Code, UOM, Description and QTY.

2) For column Item Code, it shouldn’t have space between two words.

3) Rename it as ItemCode.

4) Then try to copy and paste again from Edit > Paste Item Detail Only From Clipboard.

5) Now you able to paste it successful.
