Troubleshooting: Error Message Journal entry not balance by project or department

Question: When I want to save a journal entry, system prompts me “Journal entry not balance by project or department”. What should I do?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

By default, system setting does not "Allow Not Balance by Project and Department in Journal Entry"

Solution:

You can go to Tools > Options > GL > GL Posting > tick "Allow not balance by project and department in journal entry".

After That, log out & login again. You will be able to save the new journal entry.
