Troubleshooting: Error message ‘Please empty tax registration number’ after filled in the column of Tax Registration No.

Question: After keyed in the tax registration no for debtor and click on save button, why there is an error message ‘Please empty tax registration number’ prompted?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

This is because you didn’t check the checkbox of ‘Is Tax Registered’. If you didn’t check the checkbox of ‘Is Tax Registered’, means the debtor is not GST registered person, it is irrelevant to key in value into the column of Tax Registration no.

Solution:

Check the checkbox of ‘Is Tax Registered’ and click on Save button.

You will be able to save the tax registration no of debtor without having any error now.
