Troubleshooting: Fail to Save Invoice at AOTG – Backorder exception for item(s) : BOM0

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question : Why am I not able to save Invoice at AOTG but able to save in AutoCount system when the item was in back order status.

Possible Reason :

You have not enabled “Allow Backorder” in AOTG.

Solution :

1) Go to Setting > Administration,

2) Click on Account Books

3) Select the Account Book and click on Edit

4) Check the checkbox for Delivery Order, Invoice, Cash Sale under Allow Backorder and click on Save

5) Login again to AOTG and now you should be able to save transaction although the item is in backorder
