Troubleshooting: Filter by Salesman - Sales agent can access other agent’s customers

Question: I am using filter by salesman module, why the sales agents can access other agent’s customers?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0




Possible Reason:

You have not enabled the option “Apply Filter by Agent in Lookup Editor”. Thus, Sales agent can access other agent’s customers.


Solution:

To control sales/purchase agents’ rights to access other agent’s customers, check the checkbox Apply Filter by Agent in Lookup Editor under Tools > Options > General > Application Settings.



Sales/purchase agent only can access to their own customers now.
