Question: The item 00004 balance quantity is 10 which is below reorder level 200, but this item is not shown in Reorder Advice. Why?
Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
This item may have outstanding P/O, outstanding S/O etc. and you have enabled the option of ‘Include Outstanding P/O & Outstanding S/O & Outstanding Consignment & Outstanding A/O’ in Reorder Advice Report.
When this option is checked, calculation of balance quantity will include all related outstanding documents.
So, when the item’s forecast quantity is higher than reorder level quantity, it will not appear in reorder advice.
Note: The option (when enable/disable) of By Location, Calculate All UOMs will also affect the result.
You may inquiry this item in Stock > Available Stock Status report to notice there is a P/O quantity. After added P/O qty, the forecast quantity = 210, which is higher than reorder level qty 200.
You may also try uncheck the option of ‘Include Outstanding P/O & Outstanding S/O & Outstanding Consignment & Outstanding A/O’, to see the effect (item 00004 is shown in Reorder Advice). Because when excluded outstanding P/O, the forecast qty becomes 10, which is lower than reorder level quantity, so the item will appear in this report.
