Troubleshooting: Item searched does not appear at Stock Item Inquiry

Question : I tried to search item at main page but the item is not shown in Stock Item Inquiry?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9




Possible Reason :

The status of that item is inactive.


Solution :

Only active item will show in Stock Item Inquiry. If you wish to inquiry an inactive item, then you have to activate the item first before inquiry.

1) Go to Stock > Stock Item Maintenance, Edit and check the checkbox of “Active”.


2) Search the Item again from main page and the item code is shown now.
