Troubleshooting: Login Error - CRL error : 80004005. The Program will now terminate

Question : When I double click to launch AutoCount Accounting, there is an error prompted: CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate.

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

This error is generally caused by having more than one .NET Framework installed in the system. Some application may have compatibility issue.

Solution :

To resolve this CLR error, multiple frameworks must be uninstalled and reinstalled correctly.

1) Uninstall Microsoft .Net Framework. Please refer to the following link for steps how to uninstall.

2) You are required to Restart the computer before re-install Microsoft .Net Framework.

3) After re-install, you should be able to log in AutoCount Accounting.
