Troubleshooting: Login Error - Database is read-only

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question : When I try to login, an error message prompted: Unknown Sql Exception (Number=3906, Message=Failed to update database “AED_AIMI” because the database in read-only)?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0


Possible Reason :

This database is in Read-Only Mode.


Solution :

1) Go to SQL Management Studio, double click on Database.


2) Right click on database AED_AIMI, and click on Properties.


3) Go to Options > Database Read – Only, change the value from True to False, and click on OK.


4) Then click on Yes.


Now you should be able to login AutoCount for this account book.

Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the suggested steps.
