Troubleshooting: Missing document for certain locations when login with different user

Question: Some of documents for certain sales / purchase location went missing when I login with different User ID?

Example: When I login with user ADMIN, the Invoice: I-000002 (sales location: KL) was missing. But if I login with user CASH, it appears.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.1

Possible Reason:

You have enabled “Filter by Current User Location” access right at system option policy and granted access right “Filter by Current User Location” for ADMIN.
Thus, system filtered the documents by default location for ADMIN.


If you wish to disable the function of filter by current user location, go to Tools > System Option Policy, uncheck Enable “Filter by Current User Location” Access Right, then click on OK.

If you wish to have the filter by current user location feature but not applied on user ADMIN, then do not change the system option policy setting, but you must remove the ADMIN access right from “Filter by Current User Location”.

Go to General Maintenance > Access Right Maintenance > System > Behaviors > Filter by Current User Location, uncheck ADMIN and click on Apply.

At Invoice, click on Refresh, now Invoice I-000002 is shown.
