Troubleshooting: Outlook doesn’t work when click on send by Email

Question: My AutoCount email is not working as expected.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0



Possible reason:

1) User does not choose Outlook as their default email program.

2) The Outlook program may have malfunction.

3) Outlook did not have the access rights to call out the function of send by email.


Solution:

1) Check whether outlook is your default application for email.

1.1 Type Default App Settings on search bar. Once You see the Default App Settings option, click on it.



1.2 Click on the Mail option, then select the program you wish to make default.

2) Repair malfunctioned Outlook


2.1 If the Default app for mail have been set to Outlook, next possible reason might be due to malfunction on Outlook program.

2.2 Open up the Control Panel on your PC (and show All Control Panel items, if necessary) and click on Programs, then Programs and Features.

2.3 Find Microsoft Office 2016 in the list and highlight it.

2.4 Click on Change.

2.5 Select Quick Repair and Repair then follow the instruction of windows dialog prompted to repair the outlook.

3) Run Outlook as administrator.



4) If Outlook is 32-bit, please install AutoCount Accounting 32-bit. If Outlook is 64-bit, please install AutoCount Accounting 64-bit.


Note: Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the steps as above.
