Question : Application error message prompted when restore database into AutoCount.

Version : 1.8/1.9/2.0

Possible Reason :

You are trying to restore an account book with database size greater than 10GB into Microsoft SQL Server Express edition (which has limitation of 10GB).

Solution :

Go back to the account book and perform Shrink Database to reduce the database size. If the reduced database size is less than 10GB, user may backup and then restore the account book.

Before performing Shrink Database, make sure all users have logout this account book.

Login AutoCount Management Studio, go to Tools > Database Maintenance, check only Shrink Database and click on Start.

After that, if the database size is still more than 10GB, user may try to perform Year End Closing, OR purchase Microsoft SQL runtime license (which has no limit on database size).
