Troubleshooting: Restore Error - Please change your Log On Account as Local System account for SQL Server at Windows Services

Question : When I restore account book, error prompted: Please change your Log On Account as Local System account for SQL Server at Windows Services…. What should I do?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0


Possible Reason :

Your SQL Server service is not set to Local System Account.


Solution :

Go to SQL Configuration Manager > SQL Server Services, right click SQL Server (Instance Name) and select Properties, in the Log On tab, change the Log On as to Built-in account: Local System and click on Apply and OK.
Then right click SQL Server (Instance Name) and select for restart the services.



If you are not able to access SQL Server Configuration Manager,

You may go to search for Services at Windows search, then open the Services.



Right click on SQL Server (Instance Name) and select Properties, in the Log On tab, change the Log On as to Local System account and click on Apply and OK.
Then right click SQL Server (Instance Name) and select for restart the services



Now you should be able to restore account book.


Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the suggested steps.
