Troubleshooting: Restore error - Directory lookup for the file "C:\AutoCount Data\AED MOBILE 12/8/2020 Data.mdf" failed with the operating system error 3

Question: When try to restore account book, error message prompted “Directory lookup for the file "C:\AutoCount Data\AED_MOBILE_12/8/2020_Data.mdf" failed with the operating system error 3”. Why?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

You are using the database name with symbol “/”.

Solution :

Avoid using “/” or “\” or other special characters when rename the database during restore or create new account book.
