Troubleshooting: Save D/O error - The following Item code and Batch No’s Last Sale Date have passed the document date…

Question : When I edit the D/O date from 15/07/2018 to 01/08/2018 and save, system prompted me an error “The following Item code and Batch No’s Last Sale Date have passed the document date 01/08/2018. Save aborted”. Why?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason :

This happen because this item you try to save is controlled by batch number and the last date this batch can be sold has passed.

Solution :

If you really want to sell this item, you need to extend the last sale date. Then you will able to save the D/O.
