Troubleshooting: Stock Item Maintenance up to date cost shows no records although there is stock balance quantity
Question: Why is Up To Date Cost showing no records in Stock Item Maintenance although there is stock in balance quantity for the item?
Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0 / 2.1
Possible Reason:
You are using costing method of Most Recently or Fixed Cost.
Solution:
Only costing method FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average will have records in Up To Date Cost if there is balance quantity.
For Fixed Cost item, you may refer to Standard Cost in Stock Item Maintenance.
For Most Recently item, you may refer to stock card report to view the cost.
