Troubleshooting: System do not prompt alert when item sold below minimum selling price

Question: Why I had set minimum selling price to RM 10 for an item, but when I sell it at RM 9, system did not prompt me any alert and allow me to save.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

Most probably your check minimum sale price option is chosen to ‘use standard cost’ or ‘use average up-to-date cost’ and not ‘use normal Minimum Sale Price’.

Solution:

Go to Tools > Options > Invoicing > Document Control > Check Minimum Sale Price Option, change from Use Standard Cost to Use Normal Minimum Sale Price, and click on OK.

System will prompt you an alert now if your item is sold below minimum price.
