Troubleshooting: Unable to access Change Account Number

Question: I have set for user ‘CHANGE’ the access right to Change Account Code (refer PIC 1), but after login the related account book, user ‘CHANGE’ still unable to see the Change Account Number function under Tools (refer PIC 2)?

Possible Reason:

Access right for ‘Show Change Code Menu’ not granted to the user.


Solution:

To access any change code function, ‘Show Change Code Menu’ access right must be granted.

Go to General Maintenance > Access Right Maintenance (2.0) or General Maintenance >User Maintenance > Access Right (1.9), AutoCount Accounting > Tools > Change Code> Show Change Code Menu, apply user ID ‘Change’.


Now, user ‘CHANGE’ can access to Change Account Number.
