Troubleshooting: Unable to add Item in Delivery Return

Question: Why can’t I add item into delivery return? There is no + button to add item?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0



Possible Reason:

Delivery Return is used when goods delivered to customer/debtor (D/O issued) is fully or partially returned before Invoice is issued.

This entry will update the outstanding D/O (so that accurate invoice can be issued later), and it will update the stock level as well.



Solution:

You must transfer from existing Delivery Order (that are still outstanding). So, system doesn’t provide + button for you to add the item manually.

Delivery Order > Delivery Return


Note: If Invoice is Issued, and customer want to return goods, you have to issue Credit Note instead of Delivery Return.

Delivery Order > Invoice > Credit Note
