Troubleshooting: Unable to change the detail location of an invoice

Question: I’ve tried to change the detail location of an invoice, but to no avail. I checked access rights under user maintenance and there is no any access rights for location. Why?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

Most probably you or your colleague have checked the option “Enable “Filter Current User Location” Access Rights” under System Option Policy which means system will follow the default location of user that he/she log in and system wouldn’t allow user to change the detail location.


To disable this function, go to Tools > System Option Policy; Uncheck the check box of Enable “Filter Current User Location” Access Rights.

You will be able to maintain or change detail location of an invoice now.
