Troubleshooting: Unable to find item to be transferred from Sales Order to Stock Assembly Order

Question: I have created a sales order, but when I want to transfer from the items to assembly order, it shows nothing to be transferred?

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

The item you have selected in Sales Order is not a BOM Item. Thus, when you create new Assembly Order, you can’t transfer non BOM from Sales Order.

For example, I have an Item A (a BOM consists of Item B and Item C).

Item B & Item C are not a BOM by itself, so if you have selected Item B & Item C in Sales Order, you can’t transfer these items from Sales Order to Stock Assembly Order.

Answer:

Please make sure that the item you have selected is a BOM item. E.g. Item A.
