Troubleshooting: Unable to preview or print a printed document

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question: There is a message prompted "Access Denied. You do not have the permission to preview / print a printed document" when I trying to preview or print an Invoice report.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0

Possible Reason:

You do not have the Access Rights to preview or re-print the document that was printed. You may pull out Print Count column from column chooser, if value of Print Count is more than 0 means this invoice has been printed before.

Solution:

Set the Access Rights to respective Users / Groups.

Note: You may need to contact your supervisor if you do not have the rights to modify the setting of Access Rights.

1. Go to General Maintenance > User Maintenance.

6. Now, you should be able to preview or print those invoices even it was printed before.

Notes:

1. This logic is applied to Receipt Voucher, Payment Voucher, Journal Voucher, A/R Documents, A/P Documents, Sales Documents, Purchase Documents, and Stock Documents.

2. These Access Rights will only work if you have enabled the “Printed Document” Access Rights setting in System Option Policy.
