Troubleshooting: Unable to save Item Maintenance - Standard Selling Price should be larger than or equal to Standard Cost
Question : I have created a new item with the cost RM100 and selling Price 1 RM99. When I try to save, system prompted message: Standard Selling Price should be larger than or equal to Standard Cost?
Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0
Possible Reason :
The option Enforce Price > Cost Constraint is enable. So, selling price must greater than Standard Cost, else the message will be prompted.
Solution (1):
Set Selling Price greater than Standard Cost.
Solution (2):
To abolish this control, go to Tools > Options > Stock > General Stock Setting, uncheck the option Enforce Price > Cost constraint, then click on OK.
