Troubleshooting: Upgrade error: SQL Server Service Broker is not enabled

From AutoCount Resource Center

Question: Failed to upgrade AutoCount, message: "SQL Server Service Broker for the current database is not enabled" was prompted.

Version: 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0


Possible Reason:

This problem is caused by the broker setting in SQL.


Solution:

1. To solve the issue, go to SQL Management Studio. (install SQL Management Studio if you have not installed it), click Database.



2. Then, select the database name and then right click to select Properties.



3. Next, click on Options.



4. Next, under Service Broker, change Broker Enabled from False to True.



5. Then, click on OK. Now, try to login AutoCount and upgrade the database again.
