Troubleshooting Payroll: Export text file error for CP8D

Question: When I export income tax cp8d to text format, error shows: ‘Employer File No is longer than 10 characters’?

Possible Reason:

You have included ‘-’ when keyed in your Employer File No which is more than 10 characters.

Solution:

1. Go to File > Company Profile, then check the Employer File No. (max 10 characters)

2. Remove the symbol ‘-‘ to make it in 10 characters.

3. Then, try to export the CP8D file again.
