Troubleshooting: Item Opening Balance’s cost not updated into Stock Card

Question : I have maintained cost price in Item Opening Balance Maintenance, but in inquiry Stock Card, B/F Qty is updated, B/F Cost and Average B/F Cost is showing 0.00 ?

Version : 1.8 / 1.9 / 2.0




Possible Reason :

Suspected data inconsistency occurred due to abnormal input/sequence in using the system.


Solution :

1) Go to Tools > Recalculate Stock Costing, and click on Calculate to recalculate the stock costing.
(Note: you should perform back up before run Recalculate Stock Costing)


2) If after running the recalculate stock costing, the b/f cost is still not updated, you may log in AutocCount Management Studio.
(may search from Windows search and must login using Admin user).


After log in, go to Data Consistency > Fix Item Opening Problem, then click on Fix.




3) After the fix is done, go to inquiry Stock Card report again. The B/F Cost and Average B/F Cost should be updated now.


Note : Please seek assistance from your software dealer if the problem still persists after performing the suggested steps.
