Troubleshooting Payroll: Error “Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset” when export EIS text file

Question : When I export EIS text file, error message prompted “Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset”.

Possible Reason :

There is employee who contributes to EIS but his “Pay SOCSO” was not checked.

Solution :

1) Go to Maintain Employee, edit the employee and go Payroll Info tab.

2) Check the checkbox of Pay SOCSO and click on Save.

Then you can successfully export the EIS text file.
